Youth Fitness Classes at the Y are as much about building character as it is about building developing skills. We aim to keep kids moving and focus on their health and well-being. Our youth fitness classes run monthly September-June. Classes are always FREE for Randolph YMCA Family Members and there is a monthly fee for Community Members to participate.

Classes for 3-4 Year Olds
Arts & Crafts: Little hands will create age-appropriate craft items while introducing them to the importance and numerous possibilities of creating crafts, reusing and recycling.
Tuesdays 5:00-5:30 pm
Kids Bop: This class is a combination of creative movement and hip hop. Children will learn different spatial levels, explore directional patterns, and invent body shapes. Kids Bop will help students develop coordination and basic motor skills using props, fun, music, and the love of dance.
Mondays 5:00-5:30 pm
We supply the legos, you supply the skill & imagination! Parents are welcome to stay and join the younger children.
Ages 5-12: Mondays 5:00-5:45 PM
It's all about the kicks! Kids will be introduced to the basic fundamentals of soccer by performing certain drills such as passing, kicking, and dribbling in a fun environment. Kids will also participate in playing fun games that promote sportsmanship and social interaction.
Ages 5-8: Mondays 6:00-6:30 pm
Ages 9-12: Mondays 6:30-7:00 pm
Hip Hop is an upbeat dance class offered for both boys and girls. Kids will have a blast movin' and groovin' to funky jams while learning some smooth moves. This class develops locomotor and gross motor skills while building self-confidence through performing hip-hop routines.

JIF (Jump Into Fitness)
What could be more fun than jumping rope? Come laugh and jump into the fun with JIF! Our experienced jump roping instructor will teach and instruct new jumpers on how to jump rope the correct way while keeping it fun and creative for the older kids.
Ages 5-8: Tuesdays 5:00-5:30 pm
Ages 9-12: Tuesdays 5:30-6:00 pm
Children will be introduced to the elementary positions of classical ballet. Classes are slowly paced and thorough to ensure proper alignment and understanding. The focus of each class will be on coordination and musicality, with an emphasis on body conditioning for pre-ballet groups.
Ages 5-8: Wednesdays 5:00-5:30 pm
Fitness and sports are fun! Kids will be introduced to exercise programs that include strength, aerobic and functional training. Exercises are geared to help with sports preparedness, overall health, and well-being. All classes are taught in a fun, engaging manner.

Arts & Crafts
This Arts and Crafts will show the kids the importance and numerous possibilities of creating crafts, reusing, and recycling.
Ages 5-8: Thursday 5:00-5:30 pm
Our youth yoga class reaches beyond a great lifelong exercise program for learning yoga asanas (poses). It creates an awareness of how to focus, listen and be present in the moment. These tools foster the ability to learn, which ultimately inspires a love of learning. This class series will include learning asanas, breathing techniques, quieting oneself, and character development.
