YMCA Personal Training is a one-on-one, one hour time with a personal fitness trainer. Our personal trainers are educated professionals often with years of experience who can help any YMCA member including working professionals, new moms, seniors and triathletes. YMCA personal trainers come from as many different backgrounds and walks of life as our members do, and we take great care in matching members with the right personal trainer. Your personal trainer can then help you achieve goals through one-on-one attention, accountability and expertise.

Types of Training Available
Body Weight Training: Build strength, flexibility and mobility with one's own body, the ultimate core workout.
Maching Training: Selectorized or plate loaded. Great for people new to resistance training and for increasing muscle size.
Free Weight Training: The ultimate way to exercise. Build muscle, core strength and flexibility.
Circuit Training: Build strength, endurance and improve your cardio with this fun form of training. This is the ultimate efficient workout.
Plyometrics/Power Training: Great for increasing power. Compliments a good weight training program.
Metabolic Training: High intensity training. Great for conditioning and shedding pounds. Combines Olympic lifting derivatives, medicine balls and anaerobic conditioning (sprints).
Speed & Agility: Great for athletes or just to add a different flavor to any workout.
One-on-one, 1-hour sessions with a personal trainer. Three sessions are recommended for new clients. Personal training inquiry forms available at the front desk.
Semi-Private Functional Training
Train with up to 3 people. Excellent value with close instructor supervision.
Excellent for pre-season strength and conditioning. As the saying goes, "Get in shape to play, don't play to get in shape."
