Our youth programs are designed to develop your children into physically strong kids but, more importantly, into kids of good strong character. The Randolph Y's goal is to provide safe, effective programs to help keep kids moving while having fun! Classes enhance fitness, coordination and socialization in a safe, fun environment.
Music Together® by Merry Musicians (Ages 0-7)
Fall Session will begin September 11-November 27 (12-weeks)
Music Together® classes create a community of families through singing, dancing and lots of fun. Our classes are designed to expose you to new music and bring back The Joy of Family Music®making - no matter what your talent is. We are all meant to be not only music consumers but music makers. We are a musical experience, not a musical perfomance!
When you join one of Merry Musician's Music Together classes you'll learn 25 new songs each semester and have activities that your family will enjoy in class and at home. Our classes meet weekly for 45 minutes and the sessions are 10 weeks long. There are nine different song collections so you can learn new songs for the next 3 years! In addition to our engaging weekly classes, your tuition includes a CD, songbook, download of the songs (a free app for the songs) and online access to the curriculum and the research behind it. Youth Fitness Classes (Ages 5-12)

FAB 45 (Ages 8-12): Kids will be engaged in a different workout each week designed to teach them new exercises along with ways to stay active. Calisthenics and body weight exercises will be paired with fun games and team building activities to keep everyone moving and having fun! Mondays 4:30-5:15 pm
NEW! Little Yogis Yoga for Kids (Ages 5-8): A joyful and relaxing class combining movement with breath, quieting the mind and lightening the spirit. We will work together on flexibility and body awareness, with moments of meditation to connect more deeply with the inner self and the natural world that surrounds us. Mondays 5:00-5:30 pm
J.I.F. Jump Into Fitness (Ages 5-7 & 8-12): What could be more fun than jumping rope? Join our experiences jump roping instructor as he teaches how jumping rope can improve cardio endurance, build core strength, improve hand-eye-leg coordination and create a full body workout. Tuesdays 5:30-6:00 pm (Ages 5-7) Tuesdays 6:00-6:30 pm (Ages 8-12)
Beginner Ballet (Ages 5-8): Children will be introduced to the elementary positions of classical ballet. Classes are slowly paced and thorough to ensure proper alignment and understanding. The focus of each class will be on coordination and musicality, with an emphasis on body conditioning for pre-ballet groups. Wednesdays 4:45-5:15 pm
Youth Pickleball (Ages 8-12): Come try out one of the fastest growing paddle sports in the U.S! Pickleball is a cross between badminton, tennis and ping pong. Rules and basic fundamentals will be covered in a kid friendly environment. Players will get the chance to work with Adult Pickleball enthusiasts and play other kids. All equipment will be provided. Wednesdays 5:00-6:00 pm
Tae Kwon Do (Ages 5-8): Martial Arts training is a great way to increase your flexibility, agility and endurance. Tae Kwon Do helps children to focus, build self-esteem and confidence. It is a fun and exciting way to stay in shape! Thursdays 5:00-5:30 pm
Swim Fit/Pre Team (Ages 8-16)
This program is for the swimmer to improve their skills or just stay in shape. The focus will be on stroke technique, racing skills, endurance and fitness. Swimmers will be given the same instruction as our swim team, better preparing them for competition in the future. Prerequisite: Must have completed Flying Fish level or above. Questions? CELEBRATE YOUR DAY!
Have your child's birthday party at the YMCA! Choose from either a pool or gymnasium party plus a party room for cake & presents! All birthday parties are held on Saturdays. Tables, chairs, room and activity are provided. You provide decorations, food and drinks. MEMBERSHIP NOT REQUIRED. BIRTHDAY PARTIES WILL RESUME IN SEPTEMBER.

Pool Parties are held on Saturdays from 2:30-3:30 pm and the party room is from 3:30-4:30 pm

Family Swim is the perfect opportunity for parents and children to have fun in the pool. Max of 30 people in the pool during designated family swim times. Please be sure to arrive early enough to get a band from the front desk before family swim. All children under the age of 12 must have a parent/guardian in the pool within arms reach at all times. All children under the age of 14 must pass a swim test and weat approripate wrist band during family swim times.
Shoot around in the basketball gym with your kids! For children ages 11 & under with an adult. Please see kids & family or gym schedule for days and times. Please note that on gym schedule, all other open gym times are shared by adults and children.
Youth Fitness & Conditioning
Phase 1: Required for 12-13 year olds. Basic fitness principles, proper exercise form, sequence and duration. Upon completion of this program, your child will be certified to utilize the cardio room and track area on their own.
Phase 2: Ages 13+ This is a step up and will consist of strength training, using stability balls, medicine balls and resistance bands.

1-on-1 Basketball Training
The primary goal of this individual development training is to increase accuracy in shooting skills, ball handling, passing and developing a personal practice plan with an emphasis on gaining self-confidence. These 1-hour sessions can be scheduled by booking an appointment at least 1-week in advance.
