RANDOLPH TWP. - The Randolph YMCA is hosting Thrillerween and invites the Randolph Township community to become part of Thrill the World, a worldwide attempt to break the World Record for the Largest Simultaneous Dance to Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” on Saturday, Oct. 29.

Thrill The World

Thousands of people in cities around the world will learn the “Thriller” dance and perform it at precisely the same time. Here in New Jersey, that time is 6 p.m. on Oct. 29. “The Randolph Y has been hosting Thrillerween since 2011 and each year more and more families and adults join the fun,” said Kathy Lamia, Group Exercise Coordinator at the Randolph YMCA.

Free Event

The free event begins at 4:30 p.m. with registration and face painting. The Randolph YMCA welcomes interested individuals of all ages and physical abilities. Costumes, both zombie and non-zombie, are encouraged but not required for participation. All children who attend will receive a pumpkin. Thrillerween extends beyond just having fun. Participants are encouraged to bring non-perishable pantry items which will be donated to Domestic Abuse and Sexual Assault Intervention Services.
